Hi everybody,

I figured out an interesting new way of focusing light into a beam.  I sent
in for my provisional patent, but I'm still not sure if anyone has invented
it yet.  Before I pay for a patent search, I figured I might ask you all if
you have seen anything quite like it before.

Also, I figured out a simple perpetual motion machine (powered by gravity)
that I think would work.  If you don't think it would work, I hope you would
tell me why.
