This is a good point. It would help maintain flexibility. All people are
different--some love theosophical orthodoxy (which is not necessarily a
dirty word, it may mean concern about preserving a good tradition) and
would not be willing to support new-age-like activities, some others like
innovative (which may mean "weird") ideas and may not be willing to see
their funds going to reinforcing theosophical fundamentalism. See how GOP
is trying to strike the balance at their convention at San Diego... So
it's not a conspiracy or someone's evil will: it's the bell curve that has
the left wing, the right wing, and the body in the middle... A real-life
problem...
