Bjorn,
Not quite, I try to keep my troublemaking to making people see there are
other points of view on a matter.
One of the things that bothers me greatly is the fact that theosophists tend
to be so inbred. We actually make a big deal about someone being an
umpteenth generation theosophist and the result is a very insular view of the
world which serves neither the society or its members well.
Now it is possible to argue until one turns different skin colors, but all
that does is get everyone mad and they dig in to the position they hold. A
quick one liner, like a zen koan, can, however, sometimes shake the dust
loose and knock down a few of the mental cobwebs. So that has become my
preferred method of discourse.
It bugs the hell out some folks, but my experience has been that those who
are disturbed usually should be.
Besides, we already have a unatheosophist on this list and he would be very
unhappy if someone took his place.
Besides, Montana has a worse climate than Chicago!
