I tried the "magician" approach in 1957. Burnt fingers (and knees) and
have taken an alternative Path ever since. So, I am not any kind of
magician. Because my main interest is Kabala-based, people do tend to
assume this, though. My approach is closer to the Chassidic than the
magical, and for those who know what I mean, mine is not Merkava-based
either (tho' some of my best friends ... etc.)
