I know from previous discussions that there are Theosophists on
both sides of the abortion issue.  I, personally am very
reluctantly on the other side from you.  I think some women are
going to get abortions, just as some women are going to be
prostitutes.  That's just the way things are.  I've seen how
illegal abortions can cripple a woman, both physically and
mentally.  To protect women who aren't going to be stopped from
having abortions, no way, I'm for having them legal.  I know that
isn't protecting the foetus, and I don't feel good about that at
all, but I've just decided that this is where I stand.  I would
protect the grown woman rather than the undeveloped foetus.

It's a very difficult choice.
